PROJECTS IN DEVELOPMENT

Having grown up in the cornfields of Illinois, Boyle combines his Midwest work ethic with a very LA/NYC-centric worldview, to bring fresh musical narratives and immersive theatre projects to life. Projects in development include a musical series anthology, a site-specific immersive noir musical spin on Day of the Dead, a rock musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream set at Burning Man and a rowdy, eyebrows-on-fire movie musical screenplay Queens vs. Zombies.

Created with Pamela Bob and Mark Fifer, The Twisted Christmas Show is a fast, funny and unapologetic roast of the holiday madness. STRING LIGHTS

String Lights is a musical anthology series that tracks ten anti-heroes connected by fate and searching for raw connection, who discover that one person’s darkest moment can be the reason for another’s greatest good.

OSCURO

Oscuro is an eclectic, genre-bending mashup of Classic Rock, Jazz, Latin Lounge, Burlesque, Electronica, Musical Theatre, Vaudeville and Cabaret Noir with an immersive spin.

A dead man comes back from the grave on The Day of The Dead to solve his own murder in an intoxicating show that blurs the line between rock concert, cabaret noir and immersive theatre—set in a postmodern Mexican cantina.

DESERT DREAM

Desert Dream is a rock musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream set at Burning Man. This rowdy mashup of classic Shakespearean text against 90’s alternative rock hits features a small, queer-positive and gender nonconforming cast in a lush, immersive venue.
